Thiruvananthapuram, Sunday, November 29, 2009: Issuing harsh criticisms against SNDP general secretary Vellappally Natesan, Gokulam Gopalan president of the SVDV and producer of the biopic film ‘Pazhassi Raja’, accused Vellappally Natesan of purposely maligning his image and propagating false reports on the film ‘Pazhassi Raja’.
Gokulam Gopalan said, Vellappally Natesan is not aware of historical facts and it probably because of his lack of knowledge he is calling ‘Pazhassi Raja’ as ‘Palisha Raja’, the film was not produced using interest money, the business magnet said, the gokulam group does not run using money received from Gokulam chit funds, the group also runs Medical College, Real estate, Educational institutions and other ventures
Gokulam Gopalan accused two hundred and fifty crores corruption in thirty three educational institutions under SNDP, and added that, Vellappally Natesan is still fighting cases at various magistrate courts in Alappuzha for corruption in Kollam SN College jubilee celebrations and Kanichikulangara Aishwarya trust

SNDV Palghar District meet held
PALAKKAD: The Sree Narayana Dharma Vedi (SNDV) is committed to cleansing the SNDP Yogam and it will continue its efforts both organisationally and legally towards this end, said Sree Narayana Dharma Vedi chairman Sri Gokulam Gopalan.
Addressing newsmen here on the sidelines of the district- level of the Vedi, Gopalan said that SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan was famous for his unilateral and dictatorial ways. He said that members of the Ezhava community had benefited in the last 13 years during which Velappally Natesan was at the helm of the Yogam. The Vedi has constituted district-level committees in all districts, except Kasaragod and Malappuram.
Sree Narayana Dharma Vedi general convener C K Vidyasagar,said that the `Sammelan’ planned by the SNDP Yogam in Kochi for the `proclamation of rights’ was being organised with the help of the beneficiaries of the micro finance scheme.
Vidyasagar said that 24 of the 120 taluk unions functioning under the SNDP Yogam were under the rule of administrators.
