Ｍｒ．Vellappally Natesan, the general secretary of the SNDP Yogam, is misusing the organizational power of SNDP Yogam for his personal benefits. The organizational set-up of the Yogam had undergone a complete change when Vellappally Natesan became the general secretary. For every organizational suggestions of SNDP Yogam and S.N.Trusts Mr Vellappally Natesan's suggestion was the final word on every issue.
The situation was different as persons who held the post of general secretary functioned in a democratic manner, in the past. The assets of the Yogam and the Trust are now being handled as the family property of Mr. Vellappally Natesan and none is there to question him.
The Sree Narayana Dharma Vedi demanded that the democratic rights of the ordinary members of the Yogam be ensured and the elections for SNDP Yogam and trusts should be conducted in a free and fair manner.Though the vast majority of the Yogam members were in favour of amending the bylaws, the Yogam leadership was opposed to it. Mr.Vellappally Natesan was opposed to do it.
